Professional Bio
Tina Pruett currently serves as the Human Resources Manager for the City of Pleasanton, where she manages the day-to-day operations of a full-service Human Resources Department and supports the HR Director in implementing strategic initiatives and organizational goals. With over 25 years of HR experience across public, nonprofit, and private sectors, she has held leadership roles with the City of Oakland, Contra Costa County, and the City and County of San Francisco. Tina is known for driving innovation in public sector HR, with a strong focus on equity, process improvement, and technology. She is passionate about process improvement, innovation, experiential learning, team development, and advancing equitable and effective HR practices. Tina holds a Master’s in Public Administration and is a Senior Certified Professional with the Public Sector Human Resources Association (PSHRA). Tina has been active in the professional community for most of this time, serving on the Boards and chairing multiple committees for the Personnel Testing Council - Northern California (PTC/NC) chapter and the Western Region Intergovernmental Personnel Assessment Council (WRIPAC), in addition to her involvement with the PSHRA Bay Area Chapter and the CalPELRA Conference Committee.
